VICTREX FG™ 340

VICTREX FG™ 340 is a thermoplastic, unreinforced polyetheretherketone, food grade material by Victrex. Suggested for applications that require wear and abrasion resistance for bearing services. Provides good chemical resistance to aggressive environments, suitable for sterilization. It excels in high temperature environments, delivering up to 2x drier capacity compared to PPS. Possible applications are cookware, fryers and rice cookers, fridges, beverage dispensers. VICTREX FG™ 340 offers long-term creep resistance, point and edge retention and low coefficient of thermal expansion. Also suitable for industrial aseptic processing and packaging. Other applications may include bottling and filling lines, meat, poultry, fish & dairy filtration and CIP equipment. It also lowers component cost by 80% thereby improving performance by replacing machined metal parts. It results in 40% increase in lifetime for oven conveying, reducing both downtime and maintenance costs. Designed for processing by injection molding and extrusion.
