VICTREX® PEEK 450GL20

VICTREX® PEEK 450GL20 by Victrex is a high performance polyetheretherketone (PEEK) semi-crystalline grade reinforced with 20% glass fiber. It is suitable for processing by injection molding and extrusion. Exhibits standard flow, excellent wear resistance, low coefficient of friction and low coefficient of thermal expansion. Provides excellent strength, stiffness and dimensional stability in high temperature and harsh environments. Shows chemical resistance, insolubility in solvents like acids, salts and oil, low outgassing, low particle generation and inherent purity for reduced contamination. Is easy to process and lightweight compared to steel, aluminum and titanium. Recommended for applications for higher strength in a static system. Used in sterilization of medical and food contact applications. VICTREX® PEEK 450GL20 complies with FDA.
