VICTREX® PEEK 450GL30 BLACK by Victrex is a semi-crystalline polyetheretherketone (PEEK) grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Exhibits standard viscosity, excellent wear resistance, low coefficient of friction and low coefficient of thermal expansion. It is suitable for processing by injection molding and extrusion. Offers chemical resistance, low outgassing, low particle generation and inherent purity for reduced contamination. It is easy to process and lightweight compared to steel, aluminum and titanium. Recommended for applications for higher strength in a static system. Used in the sterilization of medical and food contact applications. Provides excellent strength, stiffness and dimensional stability in high temperature & harsh environments. VICTREX® PEEK 450GL30 BLACK complies with FDA and is insoluble in solvents like acids, salts and oil.
