VICTREX® ST™ 45CA30

VICTREX® ST™ 45CA30 by Victrex is a semi-crystalline, black colored, high performance polyetherketoneetherketoneketone (PEKEKK) grade reinforced with 30% carbon fiber. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Exhibits excellent wear resistance, chemical resistance, electrical resistance and low coefficient of thermal expansion. Possesses standard flow, purity and good dimensional stability. Provides low permeability or moisture absorption and low coefficient of friction. Shows improved mechanical performance in the 150°C to 200°C temperature range when compared to other unreinforced polymers. Is suitable for applications for higher strength and stiffness at elevated temperatures in a static or dynamic system. VICTREX® ST™ 45CA30 is used as a potential metal replacement solution for applications such as seals, disk drive carriers, connectors, turbo charger impellors, test sockets and wire coatings.
