N 2380E by Videolar is a very high molecular weight, general purpose polystyrene (HIPS) grade available in the form of pellets and is obtained from the styrene monomer. Exhibits high mechanical strength and heat resistance. Can be processed by foam extrusion and gas assisted injection molding. Recommended for XPS packaging applications. Complies with the requirements of ANVISA 105/99 (Brazil) & GMC (Mercosur), U.S. FDA 21 CFR 177.1640 and EU 10/2011 (European Union) regulations for use in contact with food. N 2380E fulfills the requirements of UL 94 under File Number E220962.
