RC 600

RC 600 by Videolar is a milky white colored, high gloss, odorless, water insoluble, high impact polystyrene (HIPS) grade available in the form of pellets. It is obtained from the styrene monomer, added to 5% up to 15% of polybutadiene. Exhibits medium impact strength, stretching capacity and high rigidity. Can be processed by coextrusion and injection molding. Recommended for electronics, refrigeration, electrical appliances and furniture components. Complies with the requirements of ANVISA 105/99 (Brazil) & GMC (Mercosur), U.S. FDA 21 CFR 177.1640 and EU 10/2011 (European Union) regulations for use in contact with food. RC 600 fulfills the requirements of UL 94 under File Number E220962.
