Wellamid® MR1873-EPBK1

Wellamid® MR1873-EPBK1 is a chrome platable polyamide 6 engineering grade reinforced with 40% particulate and fibrous shaped mineral fiber. Is suitable for injection molding application. Addition of mineral increases the HDT and reduces cycle time when compared to unfilled nylon. Exhibits improved dimensional stability, stiffness at elevated temperatures and reduced drag resistance during mold ejection. Increased stiffness reduces drag resistance seen during mold ejection and allows the injection molded article to be ejected sooner during processing. Used in automotive wheel covers and for painted parts.
