EMAC® SA2413

EMAC® SA2413 by Westlake Chemical is a soft, flexible, impact modified, plasticizer free ethylene methyl acrylate (EMA) copolymer grade containing 16.5% methyl acrylate (MA). Contains zero slip and antiblock additives. Exhibits good toughness, good corrosion resistance, good adhesion, excellent environmental stress-cracking resistance (ESCR), high coefficient of friction and high solids fillability. Offers excellent drawdown, low neck-in, broad chemical resistance and processing range. EMAC® SA2413 is compatible with various polymers including paper, polyolefins, oriented polyolefins, polyesters, ionomers, PVC, unplasticized PVC and other polar polymers. Is suitable for processing by compounding. Recommended for wire & cable, quite films, batch inclusion films, tie-layer and shrink tubing applications. Complies with FDA 21 CFR regulation.
