EMAC® SP2205 by Westlake Chemical is a soft, flexible, impact modified, plasticizers free ethylene methyl acrylate (EMA) copolymer grade with 20% methyl acrylate (MA). Exhibits good heat & radio frequency (RF) sealing, good toughness, good corrosion resistance, good adhesion, excellent environmental stress-cracking resistance (ESCR), high coefficient of friction and high solids fillability. Offers excellent drawdown, low neck-in, broad chemical resistance and processing range. EMAC® SP2205 is compatible with various polymers including paper, polyolefins, oriented polyolefins, polyesters, ionomers, PVC, unplasticized PVC and other polar polymers. Is suitable for processing by co-extrusion, compounding, blow molding and extrusion coating. Recommended for films, flexible packaging, disposable gloves, IV containers, tubing and wound care applications.
