EMAC® SP2220 by Westlake Chemical is a soft, flexible, plasticizers free ethylene methyl acrylate (EMA) copolymer grade with 20% methyl acrylate (MA). Exhibits good toughness, good corrosion resistance, good adhesion, excellent environmental stress-cracking resistance (ESCR), high coefficient of friction and high solids fillability. Offers excellent drawdown, low neck-in, broad chemical resistance and processing range. EMAC® SP2220 is compatible with various polymers including paper, polyolefins, oriented polyolefins, polyesters, ionomers, PVC, unplasticized PVC and other polar polymers. Is suitable for processing by extrusion coating and injection molding. Recommended for films, disposable gloves, tubing and wound care, applications.
