EMAC® SP2403

EMAC® SP2403 by Westlake Chemical is a soft, flexible, plasticizers free ethylene methyl acrylate (EMA) copolymer grade with 24% methyl acrylate (MA). Exhibits good toughness, good corrosion resistance, good adhesion, excellent environmental stress-cracking resistance (ESCR), high coefficient of friction and high solids fillability. Offers excellent drawdown, low neck-in, broad chemical resistance and processing range. EMAC® SP2403 is compatible with various polymers including paper, polyolefins, oriented polyolefins, polyesters, ionomers, PVC, unplasticized PVC and other polar polymers. Is suitable for processing by co-extrusion, compounding and lamination. Recommended for films, disposable gloves, tubing, wound care and tie layers applications.
