EMAC® SP2405 by Westlake Chemical is a soft, plasticizer free, pliable ethylene methyl acrylate (EMA) copolymer. Exhibits good flexibility, heat & RF sealing properties, low temperature performance and excellent adhesion to polyolefins, polyesters, paper, oriented polyolefins, polyesters, ionomers, PVC, unplasticized PVC and other polar polymers. Offers good toughness at ambient & freezing temperatures, high solids fillability and excellent environmental stress-cracking resistance. Can be processed using tie-layers, blown film & cast film extrusion. EMAC® SP2405 is recommended for films, flexible packaging, disposable gloves, tubing, IV containers and wound care applications and suitable for use as modifiers. Complies with FDA Regulation 21 CFR 177.1340.
