Epolene® E-43

Epolene® E-43 by Westlake Chemical is a maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene (PP) grade. Exhibits polarity, anhydride functionality and slip resistance in floor polish emulsions. Is compatible with many polymers, resins and natural & synthetic waxes. Because of the polarity and anhydride functionality, Epolene® E-43 is useful for laminating, as a compatibilizer for PP blends with nylon or EVOH, and for enhancing the strength of composites that utilize reinforcements / fillers such as glass, talc, calcium carbonate, and metals. Recommended for automotive and building & construction applications.
