THERMALUX® POLYETHERIMIDE

THERMALUX® POLYETHERIMIDE by Westlake Plastics is an amorphous polyether imide (PEI) grade. Is a stress relieved and traceable grade. Exhibits excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals and disinfectants. Possesses ability to maintain its size and shape over a broad temperature range. Recommended sterilization techniques for THERMALUX® POLYETHERIMIDE include EtO gas, radiation, steam autoclaving, dry heat and cold sterilization. Suitable for provisional trials, instrument handles and medical device components. Complies with FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1595, UL 94 5VA and V-0 Flame Rating and meets the requirements of USP Class VI specifications.
