Polyamide imide

Polyamide imide (PAI) are high performance engineering plastics. They have exceptional retention of mechanical properties at high temperatures. PAI also have good wear resistance, chemical and radiation inertness, & excellent dielectric properties over a broad temperature range. These properties make Polyamide imide excellent material choices in extreme environments. PAI have very good electrical properties although not as good as fluorocarbons. But, Polyamide-imide have much better mechanical properties and dimensional stability than fluorocarbons. They provide several advantages in varied high-temperature electronic applications. Polyamide imide are also extensively used in high performance gears, switches, aerospace parts, transmission and other automotive components.
