Marlex® by Chevron Phillips Chemical is a wide range of polyethylene grades derived from ethylene monomer and comonomer (hexene). It may contain other additives to modify its physical properties. These grades are solid at room temperature while at higher temperatures (240°F), they can be melted and extruded into film, sheet, and pipe, or as a coating onto various substrates.

Marlex® extrusion and rigid packaging polyethylene resins are used for:

  • Pharmaceutical industry
  • Cosmetics industry
  • Liquid food bottles, pails and crates
