NexTene™ polydicyclopentadiene (poly-DCPD) resins combine the best of thermoplastics, thermosets and fluoropolymers with a low density (1.03). These resins are an ideal alternative to conventional resins such as epoxies, polyesters or polyurethanes and these 2-component systems are simple to process. NexTene™ products offer exceptional toughness, strength, hardness and durability in extreme conditions, covering a wide range of applications, from renewables and deep offshore energy to off-highway vehicles and aeronautics.
