THERMALUX®

Plastics supplied by Westlake Plastics

THERMALUX® is a family of amorphous sulfone polymers, known for their toughness and stability from end-use temperatures of -40°C to 204°C. These polymers are a superior replacement for polycarbonates. The combination of good mechanical/electrical properties, high-temperature performance, chemical and hydrolytic resistance, and agency approvals make them excellent choices for applications in the pharmaceutical, medical, semiconductor processing, electronic equipment industries and food process applications. THERMALUX® grades are commercially available in polysulfone (PSU), polyethersulfone (PESU), and polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) types.
