As part of the European Sixth Framework Program, under which research organizations perform technological research sponsored by the European Union on behalf of industrial trade organizations and their small- and medium-size enterprises (SME), The T-Form pan-European project is aiming at improving thermoforming process by reducing by 40% the development time of thermoformed products in order to make this process more competitive compared to injection molding and metal working. The T-Form partners are trade and research organizations such as the Institut für Kunststoffprüfung (IPK) at the University of Stuttgart (Germany), Kunststoff Cluster (Austria), Agoria and CRIF (Belgium), TNO and PVT (The Netherlands), FEAMM, GTMA and Rapra (UK) as well as Aimplas and Ascamm (Spain). They also include 13 SME of 7 countries. The first T-Form results will be available primarily for the partners.
