Bottles entirely made from recycled PET

As part of a 7-year industrial project, the Canadian company Naya Spring Water has designed has developed a bottle made from 100% recycled poly(ethylene terephthalate) (rPET). This bottle is designed to package water. According to the firm, the use of 100% rPET allows to reduce the full lifecycle carbon footprint of its 1.5 liter bottle by 30% while offering cost savings. This new bottle has just introduced in New York and will be launched across the rest of North-America in early 2010.
