Vast markets composite pavers and decorative thin bricks composed of postconsumer PVC, HDPE, rubber, and tailored compatibizers. CertainTeed Corporation showcased new sustainable products like WeatherBoards Individual Shakes siding having 50% recycled content. Affresol is betting on modular homes made out of recycled plastic. Naji Khoury at Temple University has come up with a way of turning plastic waste into a cement-like substance with advantages over conventional paving materials.
