Polycarbonate Captures Larger Role in Automotive Glazing

Automobile glazing is one of the fastest growing market segments of polycarbonate resins. This application is widest in Europe, where molded polycarbonate is allowed in nearly all auto glazing functions. Polycarbonate glazing in the U.S. is used in side, rear and roof panels, but not for windshields, where its use has not been approved.
