The photovoltaic energy source is an emerging energy source, which is growing faster every year and which is an exciting market outcome for many polymer suppliers. The November 2012 Click'N Vote of Omnexus highlighted few plastic materials foreseen as the future most widely used plastic materials in photovoltaics. This was a good opportunity to put the light on what PV applications these plastic materials can be used on, and what performances they would bring.
