Robotization has allowed specialty injection molder AD-plast AB (Sweden) to remain competitive in the face of strong competition from Asia and the Baltic states achieving consistent quality levels while maintaining competitive pricing. The company produces automotive parts including a new three-part cooling system hose connector and some consumer products. Company owner Michael Jonsson attributes strong sales growth from SEK 48 million to SEK 68 million over 2004-2007, to their extensive use of state of- the-art robots.
