Who should make the Robot Gripper?

SpecialChem / Sep 6, 2006

Robots designed to unload injection molding machines have become increasingly common over the last 20 years, but their capability is frequently under-delivered due to poor engineering of the gripper (end of arm tooling). By integrating the mould design with the robot gripper design a seamless solution can be developed and produced that can be trialled together as a production system at the time of the first trial of a new mould.
