Ultra-Low Permeation Fluoropolymers for Fuel Line Design

Tech Paper | Supplied by Daikin

Today, combustion engines still represent 99% of cars, even though Electrical Vehicles (EV) is increasing. Despite the rise of electric technology, the predominance of combustion engines in the overall automotive landscape cannot be disputed for the coming years and the car producers development efforts continue to support them.

Global emission regulations are stricter and require fuel lines that can significantly prevent fuel vapor loss while also delivering peak fuel efficiency. The emission reduction objectives are challenging and pushing the oil and gas industry to propose a new fuel mix based upon Ethanol or new additives.
