For some automotive applications with new, aggressive fluids the base resistance of fluoroelastomer (FKM) products is not sufficient. FEPM rubber has excellent base and amine resistance but suffers from poor low temperature flexibility, poor fuel resistance, and is difficult to process compared to FKM.

Daikin has developed a new 62% fluorine content polymer that has combined the fuel resistance and processing advantages of FKM with amine resistance comparable to FEPM.

During this webinar, an expert from Daikin will provide an overview of this new base resistant elastomer (BRE) including fluid aging data and applications where it is already finding success.
