SABIC® EPDM 245

SABIC® EPDM 245 by SABIC is ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) with low mooney viscosity and broad molecular weight distribution. It is produced by solution polymerization using metallocene catalyst. It contains low ethylene and medium ethylidene norbornene (ENB). It exhibits excellent processability, low temperature flexibility & compression set and good low temperature properties. It offers shorter mixing & molding times, fast cure rate and high cure state. It can be processed by compounding. It is suitable for use as a polymeric plasticizer in blends with other high viscosity polymers. SABIC® EPDM 245 is recommended for brake parts, precision seals, gaskets, molded foam sheets, electrical connectors and hose mandrels.
