BorSafe™ HE3490-LS

BorSafe™ HE3490-LS by Borealis is a bimodal, recyclable, high density polyethylene (HDPE) grade. It contains well dispersed carbon black to provide outstanding UV resistance. It offers good long-term stability. It also shows excellent resistance to rapid crack propagation and slow crack growth. It is designed for processing by extrusion. BorSafe™ HE3490-LS is recommended for pressure pipes in the applications field of drinking water, natural gas, pressure sewerage, industrial, relining and sea outfall. It complies with REACH Regulation 1272/2008/EC and RoHS 2011/65/EU.
