Udel® P-3500 LCD

Udel® P-3500 LCD by Solvay is a natural colored, high molecular weight, hydrolytically stable, colorable polysulfone (PSU) grade. Possesses good surface finish, good toughness, high strength, rigidity, transparency and good dimensional stability. Exhibits good chemical-, acid-, alcohol-, alkali-, hydrocarbon-, detergent and high heat resistance. Shows good steam sterilizability, radiation (gamma)-, electron beam resistance and contains lower level of cyclic dimer. Offers resistant to oxidation, hydrolysis and withstands prolonged exposure to high temperatures & repeated sterilization. Provides stable electrical properties over a wide temperature range and after immersion in water or exposure to high humidity. Can be processed by blow molding-, pipe-, sheet-, profile-, film extrusion, thermoforming and injection blow molding. Recommended for membranes. Udel® P-3500 LCD complies with RoHS and meets with the requirements of FDA 21 CFR 177. 1655 & NSF 61 (tested at 82°C, commercial hot).
