PEXIDAN® SX523

PEXIDAN® SX523 by SACO AEI Polymers is a silane cross-linkable polyethylene for low voltage power cable insulation. It is suitable for processing by extrusion method. Its pre-grafted base mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM493 or CM497 in the ratio 95:5. This system is carbon loaded, with high UV stabilization, and has been specially developed for usage on overhead power cables insulation according to NFC 33-209, “Cable Torsade”. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only. PEXIDAN® SX523 has a shelf life of at least 6 months.
