SOFT EST.® 1180 TP by Actega (Altana) is a non-slip, heavy metal-free, recyclable TPE. It is an ergonomic, PVC- & phthalate-free grade having good grip properties. Prevents contamination due to its tight and leakproof seal as well as transfers by odors, flavors and materials. It increases the shelf life, improves product perception and design through shape & color, and visual upgrade by decorative elements. Used in kitchen & food articles, personal care, seals, toys, household and childcare articles. Suitable for injection molding of elastic parts. Shows low migration with non-fatty foods. It is easily colorable with masterbatches on polystyrene carrier. SOFT EST.® 1180 TP complies with Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 and Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21 (CFR 21) “FDA” EN71-3.
