Zythane® 6060D

Zythane® 6060D by Alliance Polymers & Services is a polyether based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) elastomer. Exhibits excellent abrasion resistance, low temperature flexibility, fatigue resistance, cut & tear resistance and toughness. Possesses good oil-, fuel-, chemical- & solvent resistance, and good hydrolytic stability. Is a lightweight, durable, recyclable and naturally antimicrobial grade. Provides good elasticity, color stability with UV additives and good-to-excellent transparency. Offers good over-molded adhesion to certain polymers such as PC, ABS, PMMA. Can be processed by injection molding. Zythane® 6060D is used in cell phone cases, footwear, sporting goods like sports shoes, ski boot shell & ski tips, power tools handles, plugs, terminations, animal ID tags, railroad pads and electrical/electronic applications. It is FDA approved.
