Hytrel® HTR8139BK

Hytrel® HTR8139BK by Celanese is a plasticizer-free thermoplastic polyester elastomer. It is light- and heat stabilized. Is pigmented black with fine particle size carbon black and contains a general purpose stabilizer. Possesses good melt stability, excellent toughness, resilience, high resistance to creep, impact and flex fatigue, flexibility at low temperatures and good retention of properties at elevated temperatures. Provides resistance to industrial chemicals, oils and solvents. Exhibits high melt viscosity. Hytrel® HTR8139BK is suitable for processing by injection molding, blow molding and thermoforming. Mostly used in constant velocity joint boots.
