Hytrel® HTR8163HVBK by Celanese is a plasticizer-free thermoplastic polyester elastomer. It is heat stabilized, high performance resin. Possesses good melt stability, excellent toughness, resilience, heat ageing, crack propagation resistance, high resistance to creep, impact and flex fatigue, flexibility at low temperatures and good retention of properties at elevated temperatures. Provides resistance to industrial chemicals, oils and solvents. Hytrel® HTR8163HVBK is suitable for processing by profile extrusion. Mostly used in air break tubes.
