Desmopan® 9873DU by Covestro is an ether based thermoplastic polyurethane block copolymer grade. It provides very good hydrolysis- and microbial resistance and very good low-temperature impact strength. It exhibits good weather resistance, excellent high-energy radiation resistance, low glass transition temperature and high melting point. It is designed for extrusion and injection molding methods. Desmopan® 9873DU is recommended for boot shells and engineering parts.
