Texin® 987U by Covestro is an aromatic, polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane. Offers good clarity, outstanding abrasion resistance, impact strength, toughness and flexibility. It is stabilized against degradation due to heat and UV exposure. Exhibits excellent hydrolytic stability, as well as excellent microbial resistance. Texin® 987U can be processed by injection molding and extrusion blow molding. Designed for belting, hose, cable jackets, hose jackets, seals and gaskets, athletic soles, casters, mine screens, tubing, film and extruded profiles.
