ENGAGE™ 8003 REN

ENGAGE™ 8003 REN by Dow is ethylene-octene copolymer. It functions effectively in a range of general purpose thermoplastic elastomer applications and has excellent flow properties. It offers superior impact characteristics when combined with polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE). Additionally, it has exceptional peroxide cure performance as well as high filler loading capability. It is suitable for processing by compression molding. Exquisite heat aging, compression set, and weather resistance properties are produced when the material is cross-linked by peroxide, silane, or irradiation. Used in wire and cables, jacketing, impact modification and high performance electrical insulation. ENGAGE™ 8003 REN complies with U.S. FDA 21 CFR 177.1520(c) 3.2c, EU No 10/2011 and ISCC PLUS certification for renewable-based plastics.
