ENGAGE™ 8150 REN

ENGAGE™ 8150 REN by Dow is ethylene-octene copolymer. In blends with polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene, it has great impact qualities and excellent flow characteristics (PE). In TPO applications where superior low temperature impact qualities are sought, it is frequently employed. Provides high filler loading capacity, electrical insulation and exceptional peroxide curing performance. Exquisite heat aging, compression set, and weather resistance properties are produced when the material is cross-linked by peroxide, silane, or irradiation. It is suitable for processing by compression molding. Additionally, it is utilized in wire, cable, impact modification, general-purpose thermoplastic elastomers, and thermoplastic olefins (TPO). ENGAGE™ 8150 REN complies with EU No 10/2011, U.S. FDA 21 CFR 177.1520(c) 3.2c and ISCC PLUS certification for renewable-based plastics.
