ENGAGE™ 8407 REN

ENGAGE™ 8407 REN by Dow is ethylene-octene copolymer. It provides excellent impact properties in blends with polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE), especially in applications needing a somewhat higher melt flow, are the major attributes. It is suitable for processing by compression molding. It has excellent flow properties. It performs exceptionally well in compression molded gaskets, impact modification, as well as robust injection molded industrial and consumer goods. It offers excellent clarity in items that need to be inspected visually and permits the use of hot runner molds to increase production effectiveness. ENGAGE™ 8407 REN complies with EU No 10/2011, U.S. FDA 21 CFR 177.1520(c) 3.2c and ISCC PLUS certification for bio-circular based plastics.
