VESTAMID® eCO E40 by Evonik is a thermoplastic elastomer from the polyether block amide family (PEBA) with consistently high quality. It gives scrap tires a new life in athletic shoes.

It is a new sustainable high-performance plastic that is produced using only renewable energy.
It is 50 percent based on materials obtained from recycled end-of-life tires saving virgin raw materials and reducing carbon footprint by 42 percent.
It is an immediate alternative with improved eco-balance for the long-established conventional molding compound with high resilience.
The soles exhibit excellent low-temperature impact strength, chemical resistance, high elasticity and are easy to color, process & overmold.
VESTAMID® eCO E40 can also be used in other demanding applications, such as in the automotive and medical technology industries.
