K2170 by Kent Elastomer Products (Meridian Industries) is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). It offers ozone resistance, dimensional stability and a low coefficient of friction. It is bondable to polypropylene. It exhibits a soft rubbery feel and smooth surface. Compatible to fatty food use and hot liquid use. K2170 meets FDA food-grade requirements. It is suitable for processing by extrusion.
