Hifax CA 12 A

Hifax CA 12 A is a water insoluble, natural colored, non-toxic, cross linkable polypropylene based thermoplastic olefin elastomer. It is manufactured using LyondellBasell’s proprietary Catalloy process technology. Exhibits good processability, excellent softness, good flexibility, low stiffness, low hardness, medium heat resistance, good impact resistance, low temperature impact resistance, good chemical resistance and high ESCR (environmental stress cracking resistance). Shows high compatibility to other polyolefins as well as to other soft plastics. Is suitable for processing by extrusion compounding, extrusion flat-die, extrusion wire, calendering, extrusion blow molding, pipe sheet and semi-finished products. Recommended for polymer modification, wire & cable, TPO foils and skins, bottles for industrial use and automotive for exterior applications and instrument panels. Complies with EU 1935/2004/EC (framework regulation), EU 2023/2006/EC (GMP), EU 10/2011/EC (PIM), US CONEG Model Legislation for heavy metals, EU Packaging and Packaging Waste 94/62/EC, End of Life Vehicle directive 2000/53/EC, RoHS directive 2002/95/EC & 2011/65/EU and meets the FDA requirements of 21 CFR 177.1520.
