Softflex® 0450

Softflex® 0450 by LyondellBasell is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). It exhibits good adhesion to substrates such as ABS, ASA, alloys, PC and polyolefins. It is processed by overmolding. Applications include electrical and electronics (handheld scanners, cash register trays, audio speakers, security tags, meteorology instruments, home satellite dishes, space heaters, smartphone and tablet cases and LED lighting), hardware, medical & healthcare, housewares (power tools, brushes), lawn & garden equipment and sporting goods. Softflex® 0450 complies with the RoHS, EC 1907/2006 (REACH) and EU 2002/96/EC (WEEE) regulations.
