TAFMER™ A-1085S

TAFMER™ A-1085S is a specialty, ethylene based α-olefin elastomer (TPO) grade by Mitsui Chemicals. Exhibits low melting point, low heat seal initiation temperature, low young's modulus, softness and flexibility. Provides high speed packing, low crystallinity, transparency, low glass transition temperature and low temperature impact resistance. Shows low specific gravity, insolubility in water, elasticity, good filler containability, foamability and crosslinkability. Is miscible with polyethylene (PE) and compatible with polypropylene (PP) for adhesion strength control. TAFMER™ A-1085S is suitable for processing by blown film extrusion. Used in blown PE sealant layers. Meets FDA title 21, parts 170 to 189, FCN (food contact notification) and EU Directive 2002/72/EC.
