TAFMER™ DF940 by Mitsui Chemicals is a specialty, ethylene based α-olefin elastomer (TPO) grade. Provides low specific gravity, low melting point, softness and good elasticity. Exhibits surface gloss, transparency and good impact resistance at low temperatures. Shows good filler containability, foamability, paintability, crosslinkability, PE miscibility and PP compatibility. Is insoluble in water. TAFMER™ DF940 is suitable for processing by injection molding. Used in automotive bumpers and instrumental panels. Meets FDA title 21, parts 170 to 189, FCN (food contact notification) and EU Directive 2002/72/EC.
