PALATAL® P 51-01

PALATAL® P 51-01 by AOC is a high reactivity, unfilled, medium viscosity unsaturated polyester resin. It is based on tetrahydrophthalic acid and standard glycols, dissolved in styrene. It can be cured with Cured with 1ml AAP-NA 2 (Peroxid-Chemie GmbH) and 0.4ml Co-octoate solution (1% Co in styrene). Offers good resistance to crack and styrene attack. Suitable for processing by spray-up and hand lay-up. Used in the production of glass fiber reinforced moldings that can withstand both high mechanical and dynamic loads including pressure tanks and pipes. PALATAL® P 51-01 is designed for industrial, marine, consumer, buildings & infrastructure and transportation applications. Conforms to DIN 16946/2 type 1140 and DIN 18820/1 group 1.
