PALATAL® P 6-01

PALATAL® P 6-01 by AOC is an unreinforced, multipurpose, unsaturated polyester resin. It is based on orthophthalic acid and standard glycols, dissolved in styrene. It can be cured with 1ml MEK-Peroxide (medium reactive) and 0.2 ml Co-octoate solution (1% Co in styrene) added to 100g resin. Exhibits medium viscosity and high reactivity. Suitable for processing by spray-up and hand lay-up. Applicable for unreinforced and glass fiber reinforced moldings. Designed for industrial, marine, consumer, buildings & infrastructure and transportation applications. Recommended for pipes, profiles, tanks, vessels, boats and parts of automotive bodies. PALATAL® P 6-01 conforms to DIN 16 946/2 type 1140 and is classified in group 1B according to EN 13 121-1.
