PALATAL® U 569TV-01

PALATAL® U 569TV-01 by AOC is an unreinforced, pre-accelerated, high reactivity, low viscosity unsaturated polyester resin. It is based on orthophthalic acid and standard glycols, dissolved in styrene. It can be cured with 1ml MEKP-HA 2 (Peroxid-Chemie GmbH) and 0.2ml Co-octoate solution (1% Co in styrene) added to 100g resin. Exhibits low level of styrene emission. Suitable for processing by spray-up and hand lay-up. Recommended for the production of thin laminates (<5mm), marine, buildings and infrastructure applications. Conforms to DIN 16946/2 type 1140 and DIN 18820/1 group 1. PALATAL® U 569TV-01 is approved by Det Norske Veritas and LLOYDS Register of Shipping for use in boat building. It has a shelf life of 3 months at 25°C.
