THERBAN® 3629

THERBAN® 3629 is a partially hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR) copolymer by Arlanxeo. It is cost-efficient, non-staining, versatile and sustainable alternative to metal chain drivers. It has high molecular weight which provides for capacity of high plasticizer and filler loads. It is special low RDB type to increase cross-link density for high module and low compression set. Offers longer service life, strength and exceptional durability. Provides very good resistance to abrasion, ozone, non-polar hydrocarbons, heat, fuel, chemicals, technical oils and extreme temperatures (-40°C to 165°C). Sulfur curing system improves dynamic properties and adhesion to steel and textile reinforcing materials. Moreover, peroxide/co-agent system improves resistance to heat and compression set. It is soluble in MEK and insoluble in cold water. THERBAN® 3629 is used in mechanical engineering, automotive, railway, aerospace and oil industries.
